Description
MIG, Inc. is seeking a creative planner/designer to join our multi-disciplinary planning team in the Portland office. This position will work with a team of planners and designers to produce reports, planning analyses and documents, mapping, and graphic materials for both public and private sector clients on diverse projects. The ideal candidate will have the ability to think critically and creatively, work as part of a team, and maintain a sense of humor.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, planning or related field, master’s degree in complementary field preferred.
- One to three years of work experience in the discipline.
Skills
- Strong writing skills.
- Ability to speak in front of groups.
- Desired computer skills include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sketchup, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and GIS.
- AutoCAD skills are also a plus, as are bilingual capabilities.
