Landscape Designer - Architect

Description
MIG is looking for a landscape designer/architect with one to three years of experience to join our multi-disciplinary design and planning team, which includes landscape architects, urban planners and designers, and parks and recreation planners.
Duties
The selected candidate will be responsible for producing drawing sets in AutoCAD and contributing to generation of design concepts. Familiarity with construction documents for public projects (as opposed to residential or commercial) is important. Candidates should be able to think critically and creatively, communicate effectively, see their work as a catalyst for positive change, work as part of a team, and maintain a sense of humor and a positive attitude.
Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture (master’s degree preferred)
- Oregon and/or Washington landscape architect-in-training status, and/or
- LEED accreditation desirable
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in landscape architecture
- Experience in preparing construction documents for park and urban design projects
- Experience in incorporating and facilitating community design input
- Software skills desired: AutoCAD (including Map 3D), Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
