Heather helps public agencies develop ADA Title II Self-Evaluation and Transition Plans, developing tools for clients to build internal capacity and strengthening the relationship between agencies and their communities. She’s an expert in evaluating facilities for compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act Standards, Architectural Barriers Act Standards, Proposed Accessibility Guidelines for Pedestrian Facilities in the Public Right-of-Way, and multiple State accessibility regulations. Heather also has extensive experience with GIS data collection, maintenance and analysis, and integrating geospatial data and modeling into projects. She has provided residential independent living services for adults with both physical and developmental disabilities, which has made her keenly aware of the accessibility issues within the built environment.
