Pacific Coast Immigration Museum
National Park Service, California
The National Park Service (NPS) would like to create a museum to tell the stories of the people who have immigrated through the West Coast of the United States. MIG helped the NPS conduct workshops with immigrant groups, museums with similar themes, interpretive historians, and state, local and federal agencies. The resulting report helps attract community volunteers, build national interest, develop potential funding sources, and ensure that all groups represented in the workshop are included in helping the project move forward.
