Market Street Park Master Plan

MIG designed Market Street Park as a children’s play area for the town center of a new development in the Arizona desert in Scottsdale. The play area has a western Arizona theme that is expressed through custom play constructions and settings. The centerpiece is an old Rancheria-style building complex made of rammed earth adobe. The complex features leather saddle seats and a native wash constructed of stacked stone. A water play feature and a rust-colored overhead mitigate the hot Arizona climate.
