In order to raise awareness of Sacramento County’s General Plan and inspire community members to participate in a public outreach process, MIG designed an innovative online tool. Modeled after an old-style television gameshow, “Who Wants to be a Planner?” asked users a series of planning-related questions specific to Sacramento County. This animated survey put a humorous spin on regional planning. The Sacramento County General Plan won first place at the regional APA awards for best public outreach. http://design.migcom.com/SacWebGame.
