Camas Parks, Trails, and Open Space Plan

A unique feature of the 2000 Camas PTOS Plan, written by MIG, was the emphasis on trail development and natural open space acquisition, to take advantage of the natural resources, drainage corridors, steep hillsides, and wetlands that are abundant throughout Camas. Considerable effort was spent on developing design standards and management options for trails and open space. The City successfully used the 2000 plan to greatly expand its trail and open space networks, and park system, including capitalizing on grant resources. MIG prepared an updated Trails and Open Space Plan, adopted in June 2006, and a Park and Recreation Plan, adopted in December 2007.
