Lancaster Parks, Recreation and Arts Master Plan

MIG worked with the City of Lancaster to develop a Master Plan for the Department of Parks, Recreation and Arts. MIG involved more than 2,000 residents in the Plan by hosting an interactive survey at the California Poppy Festival, conducting a telephone survey in English and Spanish, holding focus groups, convening a Community Advisory Committee and conducting interviews with elected officials. The plan was coordinated with the City’s General Plan Update and also doubles as the Parks and Open Space element.
