Chalfant Community Visioning
Caltrans District 9, Bishop, California
MIG worked with Caltrans District 9 and Mono County to engage residents of Chalfant in discussions about the future of this 600-person community located 15 miles north of Bishop, California on Highway 6. The process produced a vision statement and set of guiding principles that will guide County land use planning decisions through 2030. The results will be used to update Caltrans' Transportation Corridor Report for Highway 6, the Mono County General Plan and the Mono County Regional Transportation Plan.
