San Jose Strong Neighborhoods Initiative: Renewing the Action Agenda

MIG led three Strong Neighborhood Initiative (SNI) neighborhoods through a collaborative planning process to revisit and amend their original SNI Neighborhood Improvement Plans. MIG's improvement approach provided an opportunity for community members and City staff to revisit the strategic directions laid out in earlier SNI plans, determine where needs had shifted and establish new priorities. MIG helped each neighborhood present a revised set of priorities and identified appropriate implementation strategies. MIG assisted these three neighborhoods to create a joint, district-level vision, examine trends, and identify shared top priorities.
