Marin County ADA Self-Evaluation & Transition Plan

MIG completed an update of Marin County’s ADA Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan to guide barrier removal within County facilities. Using questionnaires, interviews and County-supplied materials, MIG prepared a Draft Self-Evaluation Update containing analysis and recommendations affecting all County programs. MIG then completed a comprehensive survey of the County’s facilities and produced a complete facilities inventory in a database that details each architectural item found to be in non-compliance. County staff were interviewed in order to rank barriers according to priority for removal, weighed against budgetary requirements, and the result was a clear, viable and readily implementable Draft Transition Plan.
