For this award-winning General Plan Update MIG led a collaborative team in creating an innovative, forward-thinking Land Use and Circulation Element that aims to encourage sustainability, community preservation, and focused, guided growth and change. Taken together, these goals will result in a plan that provides information on potential development scenarios, giving the public and policy makers the data necessary to make decisions about current conditions and future projects. Ultimately, the plan will empower the City to shape growth by guiding the location, amount, quality and rate of development that will occur over the next 20 years.
