MIG’s environmental graphics and wayfinding for the new Oklahoma Children’s Zoo engages even the youngest visitors and invites them—and their parents—to look at nature in a new way. Easy-to-see and instantly identifiable wood totem poles with debossed, colored icons and plant textures direct visitors to the three main habitat areas of the zoo—underground, terrestrial and canopy—and introduces the animals who call these places home.
