Tiny Tot Nature Spot at the San Antonio Zoo

The San Antonio Zoological Society worked with MIG to develop an Early Childhood Exhibit. In keeping with its mission to “foster appreciation and concern for all living things,” the Early Childhood Exhibit provides positive experiences in nature for children under the age of four, helping parents understand the value of connecting their child to nature and fostering the next generation of environmental stewards. MIG worked interactively with Zoo staff to complete a Facilities Master Plan Concept, including the design program and master plan. In 2006, the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) honored the project with a Significant Achievement Award in the Exhibit category.
