West Los Angeles College Master Plan

MIG worked with West Los Angeles College to develop a comprehensive Master Plan, including an Educational Master Plan, Facilities Plan and Technology Plan. The College has a 70-acre campus with an approximate enrollment of 9,000 students, which is expected to more than triple over the next 20 years. We developed a holistic education and facilities program to determine the programmatic and physical changes necessary to accommodate such growth. Developed in three phases, the campus will be developed around a core connected to all of the campus by a mall and a hierarchy of open spaces such as quads, greens, courtyards, and terraces.
