Hunters Point Shipyard Arts District Community Meetings

The San Francisco Redevelopment Agency hosted 3 community meetings to develop a vision for an Arts District at the Hunters Point Shipyard. MIG designed and facilitated a process that resulted in a vision statement for the District, and consensus on the replacement studios and their integration into the District. As a result of this process, District will include new artist studio spaces and a community-based Arts Center with related activities. A group of Shipyard artists and community members emerged as project champions and they continue to provide leadership on this project.
