City of Roseburg, Oregon
Following the initial plan, the City had considerable success in passing a bond to fund a new community park and sports field complex. Finding suitable park sites was an ongoing challenge, as this community is densely developed among the local hills. Significant elements of Roseburg’s plan included active public involvement, park design policies and a financing strategy for implementation. Looking to replicate the success of the prior plan, Roseburg is now ready to undertake the next level of improvements to the facilities within the park system.
