Grants Pass Comprehensive Park & Recreation Master Plan

Parks and Recreation Division, Grants Pass, Oregon

MIG is updating the Grants Pass Park and Recreation Master Plan to help create a balanced and sustainable park system. Since the 1984 plan, the City has acquired 316 acres of park land, leaving 60% of the park system undeveloped. The updated plan will help Grants Pass balance project priorities, such as developing trails, adding sport fields, developing undeveloped park reserves, acquiring new parks in unserved areas, enhancing urban forestry and preserving natural resources. The Plan will be adopted in Winter 2009.
