Oracle World Headquarters Expansion Project EIR
City of Belmont, Belmont, California
Wagstaff/MIG prepared an EIR for a proposed 330,000-square-foot expansion by Oracle, Inc. of its world headquarters complex in the Island Park waterfront area of Belmont. Three new office buildings were proposed, linked to the existing Oracle headquarters complex in Redwood City via a pedestrian bridge over Belmont Slough and neighboring wetlands. The EIR addressed a range of environmental issues, including land use, visual factors, transportation and parking, vegetation and wildlife, soils and geology, drainage and water quality, noise and vibration, air quality, and utility capacity effects. Wetland and bayfront jurisdictional issues were also evaluated.
