Ocala Downtown Master Plan

In crafting the Downtown Master Plan, MIG's strategic approach allowed the community to be part of the solution in terms of targeting and focusing limited resources toward achieving the community's vision. The final plan was a realistic, achievable economic development strategy for Downtown Ocala that outlined revitalization strategies and concepts for six sites, and identified other opportunity sites; provided market analysis and prioritized actions, programs, and activities; developed prototype designs that explained potential site development options; created design and development standards and guidelines; and identified a mixed-use development menu for existing and potential development sites.
