Downtown Sacramento is re-establishing its rightful place as the region’s center of commerce, civic identity and distinct urban experiences. To accomplish this, the Downtown Sacramento Partnership — comprised of key business, government and community leaders — hired MIG to create a Strategic Action Plan to guide future development of the city center. The Plan included a development framework that strategically linked the area’s existing assets with key opportunity sites to catalyze development and create a mixed-use, pedestrian, transit-oriented Downtown core. MIG has continued to work with the Partnership to assist with ongoing implementation efforts.
