A website, bi-lingual flyers for parents, and posters for displaying in elementary and middle schools helped inform and educate students, parents and teachers about the Solano County Safe Routes to Schools program. The program, which encourages-8th grade students to walk, bicycle, skateboard or scooter to school, has been implemented in 71 elementary and middle schools countywide. Along with print and web, MIG developed a colorful wrap for the bike trailer used at school events to train students to ride safely. Participation in the events and in the program has skyrocketed!
