MIG is leading the Anaheim Urban Greening project, a city-wide undertaking to evaluate non-motorized connections throughout the city, and particularly between the Platinum Triangle, Downtown Anaheim and the Anaheim Resort. The ultimate goal of the Urban Greening Plan is to identify projects that will create a minimum of 100 acres of new green space throughout the city, while at the same time reducing GHG emissions from automobiles by encouraging alternative modes of transportation. In addition to increasing green space throughout the City, the plan will focus on developing a system of green corridors connecting residents, visitors, and employees to both existing and planned high-density urban areas.
