Hillsboro 53rd Avenue Park

MIG developed a master plan for one of the largest remaining open spaces in the City of Hillsboro. The 53rd Avenue Community Park will enhance the livability of Hillsboro by providing recreation opportunities while reflecting natural stewardship goals into the site and building designs. The park master plan contains a cross-section of natural environments including open fields, mature forests and wetland systems used for stormwater treatment. Environmentally sustainable materials and strategies are being incorporated throughout the park's design, construction and maintenance. Phase I of the design has been completed, including parking, 2 lighted, synthetic, multi-use fields and a concession/restroom building. Phase II is out to bid.
