Play Park at Jacksonville Zoo

The Play Park is a 2-acre area within the Jacksonville Zoo where children ages 2 to 12 can learn about and be inspired to care for the natural world. The exhibits are designed to promote life science topics such as conservation and habitats through play. Play Park is a place where kids can explore, touch, and immerse themselves in exhibits that will stimulate their imagination and encourage exploration. “Do Not Touch” signs do not exist here. MIG led a series of workshops with administration, education, animal curators, and horticultural zoo staff to develop the concept design. Based on these workshops, MIG developed a conceptual plan and construction drawings.
