Los Rios Community College Strategic Plan

Working with a coordinating committee, MIG designed and facilitated a participatory strategic planning process for the Los Rios Community College District. MIG ensured that all segments of the community were involved throughout the process. To define key issues, MIG held a series of focus groups with students, staff, faculty, administrators, educational partners, and foundation representatives. MIG also interviewed the Board of Trustees and conducted a districtwide "town hall" meeting open to the entire Los Rios community. MIG also designed alternative outreach and feedback methods, including bulletins, comment sheets, and phone and e-mail hotlines. MIG has continued to work with the District to draft and finalize the Plan and to launch strategy teams to implement Plan priorities.
