Woodland School Campus Design
Oakland Unified School District, Oakland, California
MIG, in collaboration with a Beverly Prior Architects, designed a new campus for two new schools of 250 students for elementary grades on approximately nine acres for the Oakland Unified School District. The plan created two small schools with common facilities, including the administration office, library, child development center and multi-purpose shared use building. The campus was planned with the intent that the community would use some of the facilities and outdoor play areas when classes are not in session.
