MIG designed and implemented an ambitious Public Involvement Program to support the update of the Metropolitan Transportation Commission’s Transportation 2030 Plan. The comprehensive, $87 billion plan specifies the investments and strategies necessary to maintain, manage and improve the surface transportation network in the nine-county San Francisco Bay region. MIG's work included coordinating and facilitating a 500-person Transportation Summit, conducting a telephone survey, facilitating six focus groups, implementing a web survey and holding 30 targeted workshops. MIG designed each event and summarized the findings in a comprehensive report.
