Ventura Community Park

The 100-acre Ventura Community Park is the result of a comprehensive community-based design process led by MIG. The heart of the complex includes an aquatics center, gym and community meeting place. A central courtyard and entry plaza, anchored by an interactive fountain, provides a dynamic community gathering space. In addition to the park design, MIG designed the environmental graphics for the park. A future Phase is also planned with sports fields, courts, picnic areas, trails, and a natural preserve. MIG was instrumental in gaining voter approval of the park by a 59% margin in 2001.
