Ross Valley Flood Protection and Watershed Funding Program

MIG helped the County pass a median $125 per parcel storm drain fee. Working with the County, four cities, key agencies and many actively involved community members, MIG formed technical and financial working groups to break a 20-year impasse and agree on flood protection projects and financing methods for Ross Valley. MIG developed the financing strategy and methodology, as well as all education materials and the notice and ballots. We brought together local elected officials and community members to increase their understanding and support.
