Our Berkeley office (and corporate headquarters) is seeking a full-time, experienced Marketing Assistant. This integral role works with firm leadership within a firmwide collaborative marketing group to help support and coordinate various marketing-related efforts. The ideal candidate is intuitive, creative, strategic, adaptive, naturally curious, asks great questions, listens intently, sets actionable plans, consistently achieves goals, and thrives in this fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the marketing team with proposal, qualifications and interview preparation (with MIG as prime or sub) including, but not limited to:
    • Proposal initiation/checklists
    • Proposal/qualifications formatting support
    • Pulling of resumes and project data
    • Proposal close out
  • Assist with organizing and maintaining marketing collateral and other data for ongoing use
  • Support conference program organization and upkeep
  • Help maintain Deltek Vision including project information, client and contact information
  • Help maintain Marketing Google Drive
  • Produce proposals and reports/plans including administrative- and project-oriented
  • Prepare and submit on-call qualifications for MIG offices
  • Support technical/project-based staff, as-needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of marketing experience in the A/E/C industry
  • Advanced experience with MS Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite software is required
  • Proactive team player with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
  • Professional demeanor, positive attitude and desire and willingness to learn
  • Detail-oriented and the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work under the pressure of a deadline-driven environment
  • Works independently but functions effectively as part of the team
  • Self-starter with the ability to make decisions and work with different personalities and professional styles
