We are seeking an experienced Marketing & Social Media Associate to join our team of leading communications and marketing specialists. The ideal candidate is an engaged, creative, and passionate marketing professional with the ability to lead and impress clients by approaching every advertising and marketing challenge with creative energy and clear strategic thinking. This is a full-time exempt position. Some evening and weekend work may be required to meet client deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with paid advertising campaigns and research, including analysis of paid traditional and digital media outlets
  • Assist marketing director and chief creative officer with brand development strategies and execution
  • Event coordination and implementation
  • Assist in the implementation of marketing initiatives to created demand for products, services programs
  • Support creative department with materials necessary to present creative and art boards to clients and/or presentations
  • Client relationships: client service administration, preparing project activity reports, meeting conference reports, attending meetings and conference calls, scheduling meetings and coordinating other logistic
  • Research, outline, write, edit and proofread marketing materials, including presentations, scripts, newsletter articles, e-blasts, brochures, multi-media presentations, flyers, reports, speeches and award submissions

  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop social media campaigns that help achieve marketing goals

  • Develop monthly content calendars for clients and company
  • Develop monthly reports on emerging social media trends that will be submitted to clients, management and executive teams
  • Monitor client and company's social media accounts and offer constructive interaction with users

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a marketing, product development, advertising or related field
  • 2+ years of experience with in-house or agency marketing, advertising, media
  • Familiarity with digital platforms for earned and paid advertising
  • Knowledge of Facebook's advertising platform is required
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and working with social media management platforms like Hootsuite.
  • Ability to effectively explain complex social media data in a succinct and professional manner
  • Proficient in creating multimedia presentations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Must be able to work independently, have a commitment to high levels of customer service and excel in a deadline-driven environment that involves multiple, simultaneous projects
  • Professional demeanor, positive attitude and desire and willingness to learn
  • Demonstrated team player with strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to assist wherever needed
