Warehouse Space, Office Space and a Mountain

Several new buildings in Riverside offer nearly 1.5 million square feet of warehouse and office space—plus a train to access the abutting Sugarloaf Mountain.

MIG submitted multiple applications to the City of Riverside to approve three industrial buildings: Building A consisting of over 1 million square feet of warehouse; Building B over 360,000 square feet of warehouse and 8,000 square feet of office; and Building C about 83,000 square feet of warehouse and 8,000 square feet of office. Applications included General Plan and Specific Plan Amendments to vacate a street; a Tentative Parcel Map to subdivide the 72.5-acre site into three parcels; a General Application/Design Review application to construct the three industrial buildings; and for Building A, a minor conditional use permit to entitle 400,000 square feet over the building limit and a variance to approve the building height. Working with the City and County Parks Departments we included constructing a trail along the development to access Sugarloaf Mountain.
