Beaverton School District Land Use Applications
Thirty-seven thousand students, across more than 50 campuses, need a lot of land for learning! While the Beaverton School District, outside Portland Oregon, works to support and educate their students, the staff has counted on invaluable support with their land use needs from MIG’s development and entitlement services experts.
Our planners, deeply knowledgeable about Oregon-specific regulations and processes, prepared multiple land use permitting applications that have been approved for projects related to the Beaverton School District’s K-12 school construction program. Through numerous bond cycles, we worked with the District’s administrative and facility staff in the City of Beaverton and Washington County to prepare land use applications, including Comprehensive Plan Amendments, Conditional Use Permits, Design Review, Special Use, Lot Line Adjustments, Urban Growth Boundary amendments, and administrative land use reviews.
Our comprehensive understanding of the land use planning and permitting requirements for school facilities—combined with a strong understanding of jurisdictional land use permitting requirements and procedures—allowed us to efficiently navigate a complex process and provide K-12 students with much-needed space for learning.
