Jon Pheanis (AICP) is a highly versatile and award-winning planner who has worked for 20 years with communities throughout the West. Jon believes that every person has a story to tell and he particularly enjoys working with people to exchange and distill information that makes planning approachable for everyone—bringing together the collective knowledge and energy of clients, technical experts and community members to craft sustainable, community-driven plans and policies. He approaches each project with a balance of creativity, improvisation and analytical reasoning to adapt planning and outreach processes to each project’s unique goals and challenges. His projects range from park system and land use planning to zoning, housing policy and transit-oriented development.
