We’ve worked with First 5 San Diego for 10 years, developing in-depth marketing and communications plans that significantly increase awareness and use of the services available for the healthy development of children ages zero to five. Each year, we help First 5 San Diego develop strategies and tactics that communicate about the programs and resources available to parents and caregivers.
Award-winning television and radio spots have achieved more than 122 million gross impressions for less than .001 per impression. The MIG media relations team successfully positioned the executive director as an early childhood development expert in the local media, resulting in almost 7 million impressions in one fiscal year.
We’ve negotiated and placed broadcast media, leveraging $2.00 for every $1.00 broadcast dollar spent. We also buy and place outdoor, transit and print media to ensure the campaign touches all stakeholders in the unincorporated areas of the County. And our redesigned brand and website now reflect the identity of the organization better.
When COVID-19 hit, we pivoted to develop new communications for the Executive Director to parents, caregivers and providers, launching a "Daily Activities" campaign on social media and the website to provide easy, fun and educational activities for parents and caregivers to do with young children when everyone is at home.
