Mercury Insurance Building – Inland Empire Corporate Office
Corporate offices have come a long way in the past decade—epically post-pandemic. What was once a space for workers to merely go to, office buildings today need to become a place that’s part of the community.
Our work on the former Mercury Insurance building in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, is a perfect example of how to design a building that harmonizes with the surrounding architecture while providing its own unique identity.
Visitors are greeted by a beautiful water fountain and elaborate hardscape at the main entrance. Cedar wood siding, accentuated by rose-hue block pillars, rises vertically from the ground level, framing glass windows that provide expansive views and invite tons of natural light inside the building. Working with the City’s design standards, a raised terraced garden walkway connects employees to outdoor seating and lounge areas while raised landscape planters full of perennials and surrounding berms add to the development’s garden-like setting.
The building is now occupied by the San Antonio Regional Health Center of Aging.
