Inspirations and Visions Coming to Life
The National Women’s Hall of Fame is expanding in every way—in size, reach and influence—and needed new ways to tell the inspiring stories of America’s great women.
The Hall’s new location will feature four exhibit organizing concepts: Impact and Inspiration, History Only Answers the Questions We Ask, Milestones Mark Our Progress, and Democracy in Motion. Spanning three floors, the exhibits will feature the rights, roles, contributions and values of American women through print media, digital graphics, artifacts and interactive displays. While the Hall highlights individual inductees and their accomplishments, visitors will also find stories about Seneca Falls, the Mill, and the labor movement woven throughout. From the finished-out first floor, to the future work at upper floors and planned expansion, the Hall has the potential to house a significant and important collection of experiences, attracting visitors, donors, local supporters and national enthusiasts.
The Hall of Fame is moving to its new location and is planning to re-open in spring of 2020.
