

The Hub Ontario
While the Hub at Ontario International Airport aims to create more coworking community spaces for businesses to enjoy, project staff also needed to ensure that the new spaces did not get in the way—or take away—vital habitats for the natural elements around it.
Not only did project staff have to navigate around and through a literal airport, but they also had to understand the possible environmental impacts that the construction could have on the burrowing owl habitat and the Delhi Flower Loving Sand Fly, as well as potential hazards related to airport safety, air quality, greenhouse gas emissions, and traffic.
MIG processed a Discretionary Permits/Actions Application for a Development Plan and prepared an Addendum to The Ontario Plan Environmental Impact Report for the project.
The logistics park, made up of nine light industrial warehouse buildings with light industrial zoning/land use in the California Commerce Center at Ontario located on 24 parcels on nearly 200 acres, is curentoly under construction
