MIG Welcomes The Portico Group

We are pleased to announce that The Portico Group (Portico) of Seattle, Washington, has joined MIG.

The new MIG | Portico group expands our capacity in specialized architecture and design for play and learning environments, exhibits and interpretive design. Portico has a strong portfolio of work for zoos and aquariums, museums and visitor centers, botanical gardens, cultural landscapes, parks and open spaces, campuses and experiential design.

In welcoming Portico to the MIG family, MIG’s Founding Principal and CEO Daniel Iacofano said, “Portico fits right in with our community of professionals. During our partnerships on many successful projects over the years, we realized that our firms have great people who share the same passion for collaboration, an inclusive approach to planning and design, and hands-on personal service—with a cross-discipline focus on developing the best solutions for clients.”

We are excited and fortunate to have Portico’s very talented group of design professionals join us. MIG | Portico will maintain its current Seattle office while collaborating closely with MIG colleagues in Seattle and across the country.
