Portland Office Is ASLA’s Best in State

“As a collective force, they are shaping the firm’s practice and influencing the profession,” ASLA said in announcing the award. It also lauded the firm’s “protection of natural, cultural and historic landscapes, support of emerging professionals, leadership in the profession and ASLA, community involvement…innovations, communications, advocacy and research.”

The core Portland office landscape group is unique as an all-women team in an office that’s been headed by a woman for 15 years. It offers a wide range of services in landscape architecture, cultural and historic landscape design and planning, and park and recreation planning.

MIG congratulates the entire Portland team: Lauren SchmittMelissa Erikson, Laurie Matthews, Christina Frank, Rachel Edmonds and Casey Howard, with adjunct staff Robert Melnick and Dean Apostal.
